Rosie Saucedo, B.S – SLPA, M.S – MFTI
Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about me!
My name is Rosie Saucedo and I am a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). I am honored to be working with everyone at Spectrum Speech and I am particularly excited to meet you! I am passionate about my work and I am devoted to helping you and your child create lasting change. I utilize my education and experience in the fields of speech pathology and psychology to provide you with the tools to overcome communication challenges.
As a lifelong learner and advocate, I value education. At the start of my career, I attended Long Beach State University and in 2001 I received my B.A in Communication Studies. In 2010, I earned my certification and license from the state of California, as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant from Pasadena City College. In 2012, I completed my B.S in Communication Disorders and Deaf Studies from Utah State University and in 2014 I earned my M.S degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. When I am not working as a SLPA, I am working as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, where I help people restore peace and balance in their lives.
I am fluent in Spanish and I have a working proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL). I am fascinated by communication and culture, as I have had the privilege of working with a variety of children and their families in a private clinic setting, in – home and in a school setting. I am proud to say that I enjoy learning and growing from extraordinary people who care to help others.
My heart is a lover of animals, family, friends, relationships, travel, food, tea, art, photography, books, spinning, hot yoga, dancing and napping.
I look forward to meeting you.
